A couple weeks ago I had a sinus infection which turned into an ear infection. I started taking a tsp of Sovereign silver once, sometimes twice a day, and the ear infection quickly cleared up, and my cold symptoms went away quicker than usual. However, after taking it I developed what looked like a whitehead pimple on my chin, which burst open, leaked a TON of pus, and turned into a honey-colored crusty blister. I put silver drops on the blister and it stopped weeping after a couple days. When it had dried up I started rubbing coconut oil into it, and the skin healed up after about a week. I was really careful about washing my hands and keeping it clean, however after the first blister healed another "pimple" appeared lower on my chin, looking exactly like a whitehead (a single white cone in the middle of the pimple). And when this one popped, it formed a HUGE blistery crater, bigger than the first. I went to see a doctor and one nurse thought it was a cold sore, which I'd never had before, but a doctor said it was impetigo. They didn't prescribe me anything, just said to keep it clean. Well, this one seems to be much worse than the first. I can't seem to get it to dry up. I've tried drinking olive leaf extract and oregano extract and putting both on the wound, also tried peroxide on it, more ionic silver on it, propolis spray on it, a honey-turmeric paste, then finally just decided to leave it alone and blot it with a tissue when it runs. But it won't dry up like the first one. And now ANOTHER little "pimple" looking blister has appeared below and to the right of this one! I'm freaking out. It's too big to cover with a bandage, and it looks like there is a chunk of flesh missing from my chin, covered in a brown-yellow crust. It is really hard for me to take time off work, but covering it up seems to make it worse.
I have never had anything like this happen to me before. I've also been in a bit of a "brain fog," with a headache that won't quite go away, since taking the ionic silver. Did I maybe accidentally "detox" when I was treating my cold?? I also take prescribed probiotics, but never had a reaction with those. The silver was new for me. What should I do??? I know healing crises often involve crazy breakouts and skin lesions. Unfortunately, some of the treatments for impetigo can also cause healing crises, so I'm terrified. I haven't changed my diet recently, and I generally eat well. I have a low-gluten diet high in organic vegetables, but I've had this diet for over a year so I don't think that's the culprit. Should I lay off the silver?? Or can I keep using it on the wounds??
