the best way to answer this is to look at why iodoral was formulated, since they are essentially the same chemicals in the same proportions and taken in the same amounts.
first, the
Iodine project wanted a more sure way of measuring dosage for their studies and loading tests than the less scientific method of counting drops.
the second difference (not sure if it was planned this way) was that some who found that
Lugols upset their stomach tolerated the pill form better.
those are the only differences i know of. we have speculated before on the forum about whether iodoral delivered more elemental than
Lugols into the bloodstream or perhaps did so in a more time-released manner. both may be true but the difference is insignificant in my opinion.
so it is really personal preference more than anything.
Lugols is less expensive so the pocketbook might be a factor.
