Hello, everyone...
Here I am.... Day 5.. and this is BAD! I picked Thanksgiving as my date, so that was DAY 1! I have NOT cheated, but coming to work today and not having that ciggy on the way to work was so hard. I know to fight this urge is to think that YESTERDAY I tasted and smelled food that I didn't even know tasted or smelled like that!
I have a HUGE bag of eyeball bubbles, and I've been blowing bubbles all morning. So I still get the sensation of inhaling, exhaling, and using my hand to go up and down, UP AND DOWN.
But my manager is driving me NUTS, he is SO LOUD!! UGH!!!
I ignored all my friends this weekend, because they are all smokers (most of them), and that was hard too because I am a social butterfly.
One thing that has me going right now is I smelled a cigarette for the first time since I quit on the way into my office this morning, and MAN DID IT SMELL!! It made me almost sick! I just gotta think about that AWFUL SMELL!! Also, today I'm able to breathe a bit more comfortably. I haven't been a smoker for a long time. I was 23 when I started and now I am 29, but I thought my withdrawals would be gone by now! I have gum, hard candy, I'm blowing bubbles, IM DOING ALL I CAN!!! For some really weird reason the bubbles are REALLY helping. But could you imagine a 29 year old man blowing bubbles while everyone else smokes!? Pretty funny sight, right?!?! Someone out there.. anyone... TIPS??!?!? I NEED A FREAKIN' HUG OR SOMETHING!!
