Hi Wheatgrass,
Dry fast on a New Moon! A very wise choice!
You are not alone, though. It is my fourth day of a dry fast.
I finally decided to commence a fast without my husband who, unfortunately, is unable to stop eating and drinking, even though his health calls for a long, solid fast.
I have no idea how long I am going to fast; I plan to keep on fasting as long as possible to allow my body to achieve the deepest healing. It is my dream to be free from any serious health issues.
I still have the pterygium in both eyes and the subtle signs of sinusitis; They are the main reason why I need to allow my body to heal without the burden of any food digestion.
The domestic pre-Christmas responsibilities will not play any role in my decision when to stop fasting as I have already prepared my abode for this annual event; I have decorated it in- and outside, and even put a Christmas tree in my foyer.
That is why I believe I am well prepared to fast and rest as much as possible. My body has been nourished properly because I consume only nutritionally dense food.
I realize that I will soon loose my usual stamina; Weakness during a fast has been a norm for me and I will accept it without any disappointment.
I dry brush and then take baths several times a day, and plan to nap during a day if my body demands it to assist in healing.
I hope your fast will go without any serious problems.
Love,
Anne
