So my daughter has been fighting some mucous issues. We've been some side issues with attitude and behavior but hopefully we've taken care if that and I got her start taking her echinaccea again today. Well her ear ache seemed over but not all the mucous. Her ear started itching and then the pain. She woke this morning with a huge bulge under her right ear. I did some dry skin brushing and she really liked it. I also put a castor oil pack on it. Any other suggestions for getting it to drain?- Re: Swollen lymphnodes onecrazyday

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,882,874Good morning. I am new to real heath care so I don't have a lot of knowlede or experience but lemon essencial oil may help. A friend of mine has taken some classes from a local herbalist that studied under Dr Christopher. I have gland issues and she said that lemon essencial oil could help with lymph flow. I have'nt tried it yet, but maybe massaging the area with some may help.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I knew exactly which ones to get that would be for sure beneficial and where to get it,I would gladly do so! She just took more echinaccea and then I rubbed some on her neck for the heck of it. I've got a good castor oil pack on her now. She just laid down and passed out within a minute. Tired little thing :( I'm really hoping I see some improvement soon! :)

This is a reply to # 1,882,984Oh and to willowley... Thanks so much for the thoughts and concern. I really appreciate it! Trust me when I say she completely distrusts doctors!! There's a show called "sid the Science kid". My husband and I don't like it for a few reasons but anyway,the have an episode just on shots. Propaganda!!! Well one day I was doing something and my daughter ran in saying Mommy please turn the channel,sid is taking about bad shots and I don't want to watch it!! Her problem lately has been her behavior about everyday normal stuff but I think we've git that under control.
Also Mila has two wonderful teachers that agree with everything I'm doing. They also said not to be surprised if I'm suddenly dealing with more sickness after she starts school (saying its no big deal)
AND I'm soo fortunate Mila has her thanksgiving break this whole week. They don't even need to know shed dealing with this!!! And she won't be missing school. Yay!Advertisement
