Thank you for this info. A dx in 06- after spiral ct of chest showed ground glass nodules in both upper lobes *doing this from memory--was possible sarcoidosis, bronchiolitis and/or atypical fungal infection.
Took this report to a pulmonologist, who claimed the films were "over read" and to come back in six months for ANOTHER ct scan of chest. I then had some serious Bruce protocal treadmill testing done (passed), and PFT (normal).
I opted out of the repeat CT. For the life of me I cannot recall why one was ordered in the first place. I am NOT suffering shortness of breath, cough, dizziness, whatever. I think the whole bruhaha began with the finding thru an echo done that claimed I had mild to mod tricuspid regurgitation and MILD PULMONARY HYPERTENSION. I freaked with that one.
I don't have pulmonary hypertension. I have followed up with another PFT and it is normal, as well as an ecg/ekg.
Am still a little bugged about what may be in there. I feel milk thistle is a great supplement for liver but lungs, too? If it could be something "fungal" is there anything I could take to help get rid of it?
Thank you so much
