and remember the FDA wrote a letter against soy use .. Look it up. ~~~~~~~
http://www.alkalizeforhealth.net/Lsoy2.htm
Instead of having people looking for something that may or may not really exist how about providing a link to the letter, if it really exists, from the original source. Yes, the FDA has a website. Propaganda sites frequently make up such claims such as a certain letter exists when in fact they do not exist. This is why they don't provide links back to an original source since they know the majority of people will just take their word for it and not bother to actually see if the document really exists. And if it did exist then there should be no problem in posting a link directly to the original source since they supposedly found it meaning if it does truly exist that it is a public record.
And if you are claiming that the letter in your second link was from the FDA then this is not the case. That is a letter that someone looked up a few references, probably overdosed animal studies, then used this information to complain to the FDA. The letter IS NOT from the FDA.
It never passed its safety evaluation because of the health hazards of the processing.
We oppose this health claim because there is abundant evidence that some of the isoflavones found in soy, including genistein and equol, a metabolize of daidzen, demonstrate toxicity in estrogen sensitive tissues and in the thyroid. This is true for a number of species, including humans. ect ect...
I wish you all well..
till later..
This is all the same false anti-soy propaganda that has been debunked numerous times. Just all presented with a different wrapper:

So what do these people think we should eat since all plants we consume contain phytoestrogens that you are promoting the claim causes cancer? And meats and dairy the Weston Price Foundation promote contain estrogens 200-100,000 times stronger than phytoestrogens. What is left to eat? Completely synthetic proteins, carbs and fats?
