We all do the best we can do...and we can't do any better than that :) If organic from M/R is all that's available and you need it, then that's the best you can do.
It's much better that it's certified to be organic than not. Another thing to keep in mind is that Ginkgo trees are HUGE...so unless one has very expensive equipment (or has a grove of trees sprayed by a crop duster), the majority of non-organic chemicals would be applied at the base of the tree.
