In general, I like what the naturopath has been doing - especially the vitamin D3, echinacea, and turmeric (curcumin). How much turmeric (curcumin) is she taking and in what form? Turmeric/curcumin is not very bioavailable at all. Black pepper (piperine) and coconut milk can help some with absorption. See:

However, a better choice by far would be one of the highly bioavailable curcumin products such as Life Extension Foundation's Super Biocurcumin at doses of up to 2500 mg or more per day.
How about iodine and it's vital co-factor selenium (in the most potent cancer fighting form methylselenocysteine)? Those are both musts in my book when it comes to breast cancer.
I am less impressed with the exotic treatments the naturopath has moved to. Not rejecting them out of hand, but I suggest that there are far better other options to take a look at.

With a cancer that close to the surface of the skin, a better skin cream option might be the combination of oleander extract, iodine, colloidal silver and a bit of DMSO. Take a look at these two articles which include information on the skin cream:

I can well imagine how others favor going the mainstream route. That is a personal decision, but you might take a look at this:
Chemo Does Not Cure: Often It Inflicts Damage and Spreads Cancer
It may be worth noting that sometimes the combination of chemo and oleander works quite well and at any rate when oleander is used in conjunction with chemo it either lessens or eliminates virtually all side effects commonly associated with chemo (with the exception of hair loss when the chemo drug of choice is Cisplatin).
Good luck to your wife and yourself and I hope this helps,

I cannot speak for your naturopath as to why iodine has not been mentioned. Maybe you shoud ask? Neither can I make a judgement on your naturopath other than to say that there appears to be some good recommendations and perhaps some questionable one (the exotic treatments). Many naturopaths are woefully uninformed about cancer and many also have their favorite protocols which are in many instances inadequate, but again I do not know your naturopath.
I consider iodine very important, especially for breast cancer. Selenium is a vital co-factor for iodine. Though more than one form of selenium can function as a co-factor, only one has been shown to have definite anti-cancer properties of it's own - and that is methylselenocysteine.
I can understand your frustration and concern. Sometimes it does take a long time to beat breast and other cancers - though you should have seen improvement and not deterioriation by now. It surely takes a concerted and consistent effort which encompassed many factors - diet, lifestyle, toxins (the primary cause of most cancers in my opinion and previous exposure to radiation is often a big factor in breast cancer), keeping the liver cleansed, protected and rejuvenated, supplements, stress management and more - thus my suggested anti-cancer protocol.
Many people have reported success with the Cansema salve. My personal experience with a similar black salve was not at all pleasant and I still have the scars to show for it. I much prefer the ointment/cream made from oleander, colloidal silver, iodine and DMSO.
The other poster's suggestion to use ozone may be a good addition. Perhaps external application of ozone since the tumor is so close to the surface - but I defer to the other poster as being far more knowledgeable about ozone than I am.
A couple of items I like quite a bit are inositol/IP6 - especially when taken in the product Cell Forte and the superior mushroom product from Garden of Life, RM10 Immune Support. They also have a superior digestive enzyme product, Omega-Zyme Ultra.
I hope that helps.
My wife diagnosed last year Oct with left Breast Cancer (tumour and lymph node affected)
Breast cancer is another example of viral induced cancers. Breast cancer has been linked to a human papilloma virus.
I have posted last year and have decided to go alternative. She is under the care of a Naturopath and Bio-resonance therapist.
After 1 year, things do not seem to improve significantly.
The tumour with abscess seemed enlarged and encroaching into the nipple/areola (going to fuse together) In fact, the nipple has moved upwards and outwards towards the armpit. Dr from ultrasound said it is being pulled (?)
Sounds more like the tumor is present under the areola and is pushing the nipple. If the tumor is above the nipple then it can affect the Cooper's ligament causing a contracture pulling the nipple up and in (inversion). If below the nipple then as the tumor grows it can push the tissue inward or outward depending on the location.
I am disappointed. My wife has been given during these 1 yrs:
(a) By Naturopath
1) Vit D3,
The vitamin D3 sold commercially is not active D3, it is inactive D3. This is not an issue if her kidneys are working fine as the inactive D3 will be converted by the kidneys in to active D3. If there are any kidney issues this can be a problem.
C,
Again use natural sources of vitamin C such as acerola cherry, amla, rose hips, etc. Synthetic vitamin C is extremely unstable and often does not contain the bioflavonoids that help the vitamin C to work properly. Some of the bioflavonoids, such as quercetin also have anti-cancer properties due to their antiviral effects.
E,
Vitamin E can be a double edged sword. Under 400IU daily is fine. Over 400IU daily though can cause fluctuations in female hormones, which can aggravate the cancer.
Another thing about vitamin E is that it is not a singular vitamin. Vitamin E actually consists of 3 tocotrienols and 3 tocopherols, all 6 being known individually as vitamin E. Therefore, if using vitamin E it is best to get natural vitamin consisting of mixed tocotrienols and tocopherols.
tumeric,
Great stuff for cancer.
fish oil,
Be careful with some fish oils. I would avoid salmon oil completely due to the risk of heavy metals. Farm raised salmon are given a feed that has been shown to contain high levels of heavy metals. Some heavy metals such as mercury have a high affinity for fats such as the oil in fish.
Also do not use oils that have a "fishy" smell or aftertaste. This is caused by rancidity of the oils.
echinachea,
Too unstable. Myrrh gum is a much better choice. Myrrh is also a stronger antimicrobial to deal with cancer microbes, is a great source of immune stimulating polysaccharides and is a more effective hyaluronidase inhibitor than echinacea.
digestive enzymes,
Not a very good choice. They can shut down the body's own production of enzymes. And some of the enzymes break down fibers in to simple sugars that can help feed the cancer.
flora,
Yes, very important.
lymphodran,
Not familiar with the product.
methyl factors, 1000mg CoQ10, maitake etc etc
These are all very good. But for mushrooms my first choice would be chagas followed by turkey tail mushrooms. Chagas contain strongly antiviral betulinic acid and is a great source of immune stimulating polysaccharides as are all medicinal mushrooms:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1528351#i
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1671915#i
Turkey tails also contain several very potent polysaccharides (polysaccharides K and P), and is the highest mushroom source of organic germanium (OG). The highest herbal source of OG is suma. OG is highly anti tumor and helps the cells to utilize oxygen properly. OG also provides antiviral properties, which is believed to be from the ability of OG to increase immune stimulating cytokines:

2) Herbal teas 3 cups every single day
Some excellent teas for cancer are nettle leaf, red clover blossom, slippery elm or marshmallow and licorice root.
Nettle leaf reduces lactate to help prevent its reformation in to glucose through the Cori cycle.
Red clover blossom is rich in phytoestrogens containing the same two found in soy, plus two others. Phytoestrogens are used to treat cancers, especially hormonal ones, by locking up estrogen receptors:
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1443251
http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1860344#i
Slippery elm and marshmallow root both contain high levels of immune stimulating polysaccharides.
Licorice root helps support the immune system through strengthening the adrenals and increasing antiviral interferons. Licorice root also reduces inflammation due to its steroidal anti-inflammatory effect. Licorice root is 50 times sweeter than sugar and so makes a great sweetener for slippery elm and marshmallow root teas.
3) Slippery Elm with herbal addition to apply to tumour
Black walnut hull is a much better choice. The reason is that cancers can often break down the tissues leading to chronic fungal infections. Slippery elm is a great substrate for fungal growth. On the other hand black walnut is a great source of iodine, which kills fungus and the mitosis inhibitor juglone that will inhibit the cellular division of fungus as well as cancer cells.
Now the naturopath has gone into exotic treatment such as Centring meditation and touch healing which seriously conflict with my religion (Protestant Christian)
Reducing stress and visualization can help, but I would not rely on these as a sole treatment.
(b) Electromedicine using Bicomp machine
Electrotherapy can be very helpful if the correct frequencies are used. Not familiar at all with this machine though.
Yes. my wife maintains her health this 1 yr but the tumour does not seem to shrink. Worse, it is going to fuse with the nipple if I do not take drastic action soon.
Ozone therapy is the safest and most effective cancer therapy there is:
http://mountainmistbotanicals.com/info/The%20Chemistry%20of%20Ozone%20Therapy...
If you can find a doctor that does ozone injections the ozone can injected directly in to the tumor, which will destroy cancer cells on contact in a chain reaction. So a little ozone goes a long way.
Now I am using MWO bought from ALtered state to help her.
The Multi Wave Oscillator is another electrotherapy device with a good history. Although I personally prefer fixed frequency devices.
Those close to me are asking me to switch to conventional doctor. I have already used up 1 year. Can anyone advise or help?
One other thing I would really recommend is that if you are going to use herbs and supplements to treat the cancer, cover as many aspects of the cancer as possible. Cancer cells, especially viral induced cancers, have a high adaptability. The extra genetic material supplied by the viruses has been linked to the ability of cancer cells to build up a resistance to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. So it is important to not rely on individual herbs or supplements for treatments. When addressing cancer I highly recommend addressing the viral and other microbial aspects of most cancers, blocking the lactate-glucose cycle, increasing cytokines, peroxide formation, activation of white blood cells, increasing SOD and other antioxidant enzymes, reducing serum glucose, blocking of angiogenesis and metastases, inhibition of hyaluronidase, mitosis inhibition, etc. Here is a write up I did on a cancer a while back that explains the actions of some of the different herbs:

Take care.
