I was drinking beer with a friend yesterday...as I layed on my couch I noticed heartburn since I was drinking on an empty stomach.
I felt the classical burning in my throat and suddenly I can't breath anymore.
Turns out a mix of beer and stomach acid made it's way into my lungs, hindering me from breathing.
I didn't know what happened but after a minute it opened up again. My lung hurt for the next hour and my breathing sounded like I had asthma, because of the fluid still inside.
Anyway, never drink or sit out heartburn in a horizontal position! :)

It wasn't heartburn, that is just a dump medical term for we don't have a clue. Could be as simple as gas or as complex as a Tapeworm sqeezing...

This is a reply to # 1,867,789Acid has little to do with "Heartburn". Mostly its small ulcers that come about due to H.Pylori and antacids or alkalinity.
Sometimes its blockages from any of the main critters causing overgrowth and gas pressing up and forcing acid where it shouldn't be.
Lately the biggest culprit is Soy protein which is a Human Pepsid killer.
F.Buski Excyst (E1: 1-5mm) causes pyloric Obstruction - alkalosis; esophageal diseases, more in my old worksheet when this battle first began: //www.curezone.org/upload/Members/Newport/scripts/f_buski/Fluke_Buski_comp.txt

NEITHER are solved with alkaline products.

This is a reply to # 1,867,807Thanks for the info! I thought a lack of stomach acid could explain the production of gas in the intestines, but I see it gets more complicated than that :)
I'm curious about your old worksheet...is there a way to browse through the scripts, like on your blog?
This week I'll go to the customs to get my mannitol, then we can talk parasites...though my head explodes just thinking about what to treat first, the list for bile blockage alone is huge.

I agree with this.
Or maybe a deposit of waste which is dissolving or which is forming...
Or maybe a bacteria overgrowth because of the beer...
If you want to go the allopath doctors way, it can be "stress" or "a genetic problem" or "you focus too much on your body". lol
