I have been comparing the ingredients lists on different brands of mild cheddar cheeses, and have noticed that some brands (kraft cracker barrel and black diamond) have "modified milk ingredients" as their first ingredient. Other (more expensive) brands list only "milk" as their first ingredient. Are the cheeses that list "modified milk ingredients" SCD legal?- Re: Legality of Cheddar Cheese on th... InCharge

This is a reply to # 1,853,652Are the cheeses that list "modified milk ingredients" SCD legal? Modified milk ingredients could mean anything including chemicals to make the product cheaper. I'm not familiar with the SCD diet guidelines, but I can't understand trying to be healthy eating anything modified.
