It is 7AM local time.
For the last hour or so I been reading, on many different websites, about the pros and cons of FASTING. The information gleaned from these sites only reinforces my beliefs and experiences about fasting.
An indirect quote from Monty, on this forum was ,"you'll know when it is time to re-feed when you have an undeniable urge to eat'. One site said, "The body will generally indicate to the faster when fat levels are running extremely low (less than 7% and 10% of body weight for males and females, respectively) with an increased urge for food. Fasts are usually broken long before this point."
"chrisb 1", makes statements with the wisdom of the ages on this and other subjects, that can only come from years of dedication, education, and experience. When Chris makes a statement, he almost always backs it up with a reference.
My ex-wife, a registered nurse, contacted me yesterday with concerns about me fasting. (Maybe I shouldn't have admitted to my Daughter that I was on a fast.) I reassured, the lovely mother of my children that I was fine, that my Doctor approved, and that I would read the pamphlet that she had about the benefits of coconut oil.
I guess what I am trying to say is that "Education is the Key". READ READ READ... Educate you self, you won't be so likely to ask silly redundant questions, or make false, and misleading statements.
Fasting has been of great benefit to me over the years. I use it when my body tells me to and I stop when that same voice says, stop.
I wish you good health and pleasant fasting.
May you reach all your Goals and Dreams.
