Sunday night my eye was tender. Monday morning the eyelid was purple and felt bruised. My eye was itching. I used a homeopathic remedy for stye two days and the situation just kept getting worse. I started putting Neem Oil on the eyelid and felt a little better, but not much. I put drops of
Colloidal Silver in my eye and felt a little better but not much.
Before bed time last night I took a golden seal capsule. Then peed in a cup and washed my eye with the urine. Much to my surprise, both of my eyes began to sting and make lots of tears, even though I only put the urine in the infected eye. It was not a bad sting that made me regret I did it. It felt like a healing sting. This morning the eye felt a little better, but the healing was not progressing as quickly as I would have liked.
So I chewed up some thyme leaves really good into a soft mushy paste and applied a poltice to the eyelid right along the eyelashes and left it for about 15 minutes. Holy moly did that ever help! I took the paste off, chewed it up some more, swallowed it, hoping my body will use the medicine like a vaccine and prevent me from every getting another eye infection. Just a wild idea that I choose to prove true. Perhaps not scientifically sound.
Next I chewed up some rosemary and applied another paste, because rosemary is supposed to help with edema, and my eyelid is swollen. I left it about 15 minutes and ate it too. Then I peed in a cup and my urine was really golden, because I have been taking goldenseal, and I washed my eye with it.
My eye feels so much better it is amazing. I think this will be gone in a day or two now.
