You have started the activation of the sodium chlorite and now have no way to accurately measure the concentration of the chemicals you want to use.

The chlorine dioxide gas will eventually make the plastic in the bottle brittle and it will crack spilling whatever is inside. Probably best to dump it.

I don't know much about chemistry but from my point of view, I'd say your Sodium Chlorite mixture is no longer good.

For what it's worth, I always keep a few extra bottles on hand in case something like this happens. Hope you have extra's.

PS. its much cheaper to make your own Miracle-Mineral-Supplement btw.
