I have finally figured out that my migraines are definitely tied to episodes of low blood sugar.
Anything that raises my blood sugar, causes a migraine, so from what I can understand, my pancreas is shooting out too much insulin to lower the
Sugar in my blood and thusly my blood
Sugar drops too low or too fast and I get a migraine.
Exertion and stress also affects my blood
Sugar which was really confusing me. I would get a migraine from doing yard work even though I was barely tired when I stopped, so was hard to tie those together.
Once, I ate a baked potato and a couple hours later had a migraine. If I drink orange juice, I will get a headache later on. I've heard that orange juice is a migraine trigger but I thought it was an allergy of sorts but it's not..it's because it increases your blood sugar and then bam later on your blood sugar drops, so you get a migraine.
Water Fasting gives me a migraine, as does not eating frequently.
So I need to learn to heal my pancreas.....
Just posting this in case it helps someone else. Took me years to figure out what was causing my migraines.
