you were warned...
:-)
I happen to love Prussian blue. All the deep and brilliant blues. And especially In the form of little blue balls (!)
that I once bought to put into a bath. Just last week I ran across these again,
and often get a craving for them around full moon. ( There are good reasons for this: everything good is magnified at full moon--and the body holds more liquid, as does the brain--it's a VERY good time to ingest BEST quality healers and have them do double duty ...And/or to feed the skin (largest organ) with such things as coconut oil, herbal baths...magnesium etc..
I often get a craving to BE blue. Yes, it's odd, but feels like a memory. Perhaps it's not so odd in other realms. I think artists will 'relate'.
Anyway--here's the thing: I just looked into this blue balls thing, (no relation to suffering) and find:
"Prussian blue is the basis for laundry bluing."
(which is what these balls are, that can also be used in baths. They are very safe.
[edit] Niche uses
[edit] Medicine
Prussian blue's ability to incorporate monocations makes it useful as a sequestering agent for certain heavy metal poisons. Pharmaceutical-grade Prussian blue in particular is used for patients who have ingested thallium or radioactive caesium. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, an adult male can eat at least 10 grams of Prussian blue per day without serious harm.
Fascinating! Because I've had the strange feeling with all this rain coming down, of experiencing stuff I never have before, that I attribute to what's IN the rain.
Anyway, am about to have a bath with a lot of these blueing balls...
(Not sure where you find this: I got it an an "occult shop"--> sad, because these are the places where herbs and such will soon have been relegated to--and you know what's next: they demonize the herbs...)
I thought some of you might find this interesting/inspiring. Also today, I sorted out all my pastels, into their colour families, ( a labour of joy) and then walked amid the carpets of chartreuse. (leaf and pre-bloom-fall, come down in the rain)
hope you reading this are well, and feeling blessed.
