I did a sleep study a couple of months ago, never followed thru. All of a sudden I get an "urgent" call from the doc's receptionist stating that I need to get back to the sleep study center and do the cpap titration test asap for sleep apnea and supposed breathing stoppage whilst sleep, or else they are sending in a certified letter.

The recep. called the next day, I was asleep and did not take the 2nd call, but she left voice msg stating that certified letter is on the way since I didn't call.

A coworker told me sounds like the doc is trying to make more money. But I think it must be something other than money because he probably sees hundreds of patients a month, so why would he bother me if it's just for money. What do you all think?
