Hoping someone can please help me here.
Is it easy to find a pediatric low flow oxygen regulator locally?
Is ozone therapy dangerous when someone is experiencing ongoing difficulty breathing? If so would this include ozonated water?

I don't think that drinking ozonated water would cause problems. Unless you are directly breathing medical ozone (which you shouldn't do), ozone therapy should not aggravate breathing issues.- Re: ozone therapy & difficulty breat... angelbebe

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,809,513You're welcome! FYI, the CGA540 is the standard connection for a welding oxygen tank. Also, you can buy a CGA540 O2 tank off ebay and later exchange it at a local welding supply. For convenience, I would stick with a 20 or 40 cu ft tank.

This is a reply to # 1,809,530I'll keep that in mind about the 20 or 40 cu ft tank. I am very thin so maybe the 20 cu ft is better for me :)I was going to order the regulator you posted online. If I can't find it (or something similar) locally then I will, because right now I really need to rush it with the ozone.
We live in a small town and drove around saturday looking for welding supply stores and noticed there is a place that sells pure medical oxygen. I feel like asking if they can sell me some but I've known we need a prescription. I wonder if it will hurt to ask..just incase of a yes? The reason I say if it will hurt to ask is that I wouldn't like for them not to sell me anything afterwards. The main reason of using a pediatric regulator is to start off at lower levels, right?
I'm going in today. I get nervous kinda easy. Thankfully my dh is going in with me.

This is a reply to # 1,809,582You need a pediatric regulator for ozone generators. Most ozone treatments require very low flow rates. The highest you would use would be 1/2 LPM (like for a steam sauna). Most treaments will use something like 1/4 LPM or less. The ozone production for home units drops off significantly after 1/4 LPM. You won't need any other regulator.
Trying to get a medical oxygen tank filled is difficult. I was unable even with a valid prescription from my MD. Seems like a lot of the gas shops will only fill tanks for medical providers and not individuals. It was easier to just get a welding O2 tank. The oxygen source is the same so it doesn't really matter. I have no problems getting the welding O2 tank filled when I need to.

I couldn't afford the regulator when I purchased it. I was told I needed a 540 regulator which is a pediatric regulator. The one you posted should work though. Plus it's very affordable.
We went in and they had pediatric low flow regulators. They said they couldn't sell me one. My husband says that if I purchase the tank on ebay for the regulator you posted, that I won't be able to get it filled with welders oxygen. Can you please guide me with this?
They told me that as long as I have a prescription for it they'd fill it. I'm going to try tomorrow and see if my Dr. can do this. I have difficulty breathing, not sure how bad it has to be in order for me to get one.
Edit: this should work then? I'm using ozone in my ears as well.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,809,768I have the PromoLife generator as well and it works fine. The regulator that you have in the link is not a low-flow pediatric and doesn't have the barb connection on it. You really want those lower 1/8, 1/16, etc. flow rates. There's no problem with buying this online.
I bought an empty tank on ebay and had no trouble exchanging it for a full tank at the local welding shop. I even said that I'm a hoppyist who likes to do metal artwork projects just to sound legit. I had no problems and have been to that shop for refills a few times already.

This is a reply to # 1,809,834I went ahead and ordered the regulator you have. The orange 20 cu ft tank I posted says it's a "welding cylinder" which means they should be able to fill it with welder's oxygen.

is a 40 cubic ft that doesn't state it's a welding cylinder. The valve is for CGA540. The valve on the tank needs to match the pediatric regulator, right.., which this one does. It doesn't say it's a medical tank. I'm assuming it's also a welding tank.
I'm not sure if the guy that helped us at the welding supply store confused us. I understood that a pediatric regulator can only be used with a medical oxygen tank. I commented to my dh before he went to bed this morning that you didn't have a problem filling yours. This means we probably shouldn't either.It would save me so much time if I'd be able to buy the tank locally. I didn't expect these bumps in the road. Thank you so much for helping!
p.s I need to clarify that on the above post where I talk about needing a prescription it was for medical oxygen. I was so tired when I wrote it.

This is a reply to # 1,809,991I have the same 40 Cu Ft tank in the link that you posted. It's a "welding" tank. It has a CGA540 valve that fits just fine with the regulator.

A quick question about the pediatric flow regulator you purchased from Cramer.... did your regulator come with the washer necessary for attaching to your tank and if not, where did you purchase the washer?
