Its been couple weeks since finished the 20 day fast.
My weight went to 202 at end but bounced back from salt and carbs to around 214 or so range. I have held it there today was 215 but have been going back and forth around 214/215 for week or so now.
I have been doing my treadmill 5x week only couple missed days and weights 3x week no missed days. Since fast and since last jan 40 day fast.
I was 260 in January so not too bad to be holding at 215 range now.
Still want to get down to 200 or even lower but not really into any long fasts to do it hoping to do it with exercise and started up my EAT STOP EAT stuff this week didn't do it for last couple weeks.
You do two 24 hour fasting periods twice week. Also I don't normally eat breakfast and was watching what was snacking on and if was snacking but have slipped a bit for the two weeks or so post fast so back to daily weighing,being very strict on snacking and really watching what I eat. I don't do anything like raw and not vegetarian. I eat meat of all types and eat fair bit of carbs and sometimes even have something that might be considered forbidden food. Some white
Sugar or white floor, whatever. Too restrictive and you start to crave the forbidden food.
I may do short fast in may maybe 7 to 14 day max. Nothing longer and may repeat a few of these shorter ones to keep chipping away at my weight till reach happy place with it.
I go on how I look and bodyfat and for me think bmi is garbage. But I have quite a bit of muscle and bmi don't work well for people with muscle.
So will maybe post every week or few weeks and will for sure post in detail and maybe ask for fasting buddy if do another 7 to 14 day fast near end of may.
I seem to gain about 10
pounds of water weight when refeed from salt and carbs. Did the same on first 40 day fast. Went down from 260 to 217 on that one then boucned back to 227 highest then fought it down with eat stop eat and exercise to 222 ,Started second fast 20 days at 222 and got to 202 but now at 215.I could have gained maybe pound or two from not being that strict after fast and from not doing my EAt stop eat that did right away after the 40 day fast. My 40 day was 31 water, 3 juice, 2 water 4 juice. the 20 was mostly all water with bit of juice last day or so and day or so transitioning to eating normal food.
Water fasting is the fastest but juice does help with energy and you don't get the fainting feelings on juice like you can on water. Advice for newbies don't drink too much water on fast you will flush out sodium and potassium.I did this on first 40 day fast. Second 20 day only drank when thirsty much better. and bought blood pressure tester and checked it thruout the 20 day fast didn't have it for 40 day one.
