No it does not mean 'without aid'. Many, if not most people need to Colon Cleanse for a month, a year or even many years.

It is good that you have been taking IF#1, but to cleanse and heal the colon/bowel you should be using the IF#2, and if needed continue with IF#1.

You can use IF#1 safely for decades - there is likely nothing worse for your health than not having 3 or more bms daily. If you don't want to use IF#1 for decades, then you should be sure to do 'the following':

--thoroughly cleanse the colon from decades of mucoid plaque (which generally takes months of cleansing - although not necessarily all at the same time). IF#2 is the deep cleanser & healer of the colon.

--cleanse & restore your liver --bile from the liver IS our natural IF#1--

--eliminate meat & dairy from your diet (meat has ZERO fiber, and slows down digestion incredibly; all dairy is mucous forming -think glue-)

--eat a diet that is at LEAST 75% fibrous raw & whole foods (grains in the their WHOLE form, not flour products), fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, sprouts - and the oils thereof.

--Ensure that you are NOT dehydrated - at the very MINIMUM we need "1/2 our body weight in ounces of PURE water daily" - so if one weighs 150, they need 75oz of water daily. A gallon is better :)
