Fear of retribution. (Shades of: "God's gonna git ya for that! God's gonna be mad if you DON'T 'do what He says...")

~also~ Ignorance of the fact that they are MISinterpreting the bible by believing man's interpretation of scripture, instead of getting the right interpretation from God Himself.

Back to fear again: that the medical community, in its "infinite wisdom" (so-called), is correct in that their babies will have better hygiene if they are circumcised.

FEAR NOT.

Why can't people who put their faith so strongly into doing something they "believe" is right, when they ignore the basic statement of

"fear NOT"
