Soymilk-mucus forming, not a fan of soy too contraversial...Soy didnt agree with me.
Hempmilk-somewhat irritated my gut with the fiber content.. higher in carbs.. Made me bloated
Almond milk--dont think they sell almond milk that doesnt have starches or calcium added too it. Not a fan of added calcium..it buffers stomach acid too much. People with candida need as much stomach acid as they can get.
Sugar free coconut milk is your best bet .Coconut Milk seems to give me a boost of energy and doesnt make me congested like the other milks do. I drink the canned "Lite" coconut milk from kroger brand or native forest...both of them are sugar free. Dont like the so brand becuae they add calcium to it. Added calcium causes indigestion for me.Were not designed to take mined minerals that are only 10 to 30% absorbed. There is a reason why those minerals are only slighlty absorbed. The molecule is to large for are body to digest it. Otherwise they would be 90-99% utilized.
I think the thai brand had more carbs in it if i recall? Dont always trust websites -go with your gut feeling and what works for you the best. Coconut milk/oil is one of the easiest fats for us to digest ... Therefore I dont see it being to mucus forming.
