I just realized the wonderful long-time posters here who have dug tirelessly into the history and mechanisms of iodine, have something in common. So have those who have challenged the so-called laws of physiology. We have all experienced The Abraham Effect, indomitable curiosity about iodine.

Individually and together we have done more and more detective work. Dr. Abraham's work was a call to arms for many of us to question everything we've been taught. There is no going back once you have been bitten. No cure for the Abraham Effect!
