curezone is quite the oddity in that so many different methods, modes and opinions exist on one site. it really is a great education device. this should not include blatant lies.
micropenis, though not the end of the world, can be a horrible affliction, especially in a culture so obsessed with sex. every effort should be taken to treat such a condition, within reason, of course. thats an individual tragedy and must be dealt with privately.
thats not what this post is about. this post is about the demonization of supplementing inorganic iodine. people need to get this through their heads - all nutritional
Iodine is inorganic, whether it comes from a mine in chile or kelp from the north sea. it is absolutely essential and most americans are highly deficient in it, as evidenced by the epidemic of being unable to think.
the plethora of posts on the
Iodine forums about all the problems people encounter while first taking
Iodine leave a false impression with the casual reader that iodine is risky if not dangerous to take. nothing could be further from the truth. in fact, the most dangerous position to take with iodine is to ignore it completely. the initial dose in a toxic and deficient person is the worst for detox symptoms. it never gets worse, always gets better, and usually leads to a moment of clarity and a certain ecstasy that goes with that. a rule of thumb i use is the more dramatic the reaction to the initial dose of iodine, the greater indication that it is needed badly! i am positive that many people who would be much better off today by supplementing iodine have been scared off and are still suffering as a result. this, IMHO, is a crime. its so very unnecessary and so very easy and cheap to fix.
the lies stop here, using microphallus as a case in point.

here are the basics:
BASICS
Description
* A penis that is <2.5 standard deviations below the mean in length
* Normal full-term newborn penis should be at least 1.9
cm long.
* The penis is normally formed but small.
* Diameter is usually proportional to length.
* Scrotum usually normal but can be smaller.
* Testicles may be small or undescended.
ALERT: Pediatric Considerations
A condition that deserves consultation and evaluation in the neonatal period
Epidemiology
* ~ 1.4/10,000
* Estimated between 1:10,000–1:60,000 based on prevalence of Kallmann syndrome
in my research it was stated elsewhere that normally this condition is noticeable at birth. it occurs rather frequently in the population. in fact, i have known people with this condition. however, they married, had normal lives and were able to father children no problem.
next are the risk factors for this condition:
Risk Factors
* Associated with Down, Klinefelter, polysomy X syndromes, and major chromosome abnormalities
* Advanced maternal age: Nondisjunction during meiosis can lead to Down and Klinefelter syndrome
* Maternal exposure to antiandrogen medications during pregnancy:
o No known environmental factors
notice here that this is mostly due to genetics during meiosis. however, there are no known environmental factors associated with this condition. i might suggest they are not looking hard enough. with what i already know, i would start by looking at lead toxicity.
most interesting is the risk of exposure to antiandrogen medications. what could these be? well, certainly pharmedico is big into producing products that harm people in every imaginable way. but there is another group of medications known as HERBS which can have very powerful effects on reproduction, both pro and con, up to and including herbs that induce premature labor and even abortion.
androgens are hormones. iodine increases hormone receptivity, not decreases or blocks it. if anything, iodine supplementation during pregnancy would act as a prophylaxis to preventing such an occurrence as blocking androgen from happening. iodine is an essential part of ALL prenatal vitamins to prevent the most severe forms of deficiency, namely cretinism. the medical doctors who are pioneering new larger doses of iodine in their practices, including in pregnant women, say that intake of inorganic iodine is a must and that mainstream dosages and dietary intake in the US are pathetically inadequate.
dr guy abraham, head of the iodine project and one time head of surgery at berkeley for 8 years writes:

The literature search revealed that 60 million mainland Japanese consume a daily average of 13.8 mg of elemental iodine and they are one of the healthiest nations, based on overall wellbeing and cancer statistics (4). Japanese women do not stop consuming iodine-rich foods during pregnancy, and Japanese fetuses are exposed to maternal peripheral levels of
Iodide at concentrations of 10-5M to 10-6M (1-4). Either the Japanese are mutants, capable of striving on toxic levels of iodine or we have been grossly deceived, and the human body needs at least 100 times the RDA, which was established very recently in 1980 and confirmed in 1989!! (7).
for some background on the importance of iodine supplementation during pregnancy there is a talk and slide show by dr brownstein:

in conclusion, iodine has never been known to cause micropenis, or any other congenital defect, save the pharmedico fearmongering regarding thyroid development(they are wrong). all problems regarding pregnancy and iodine have to do with too little intake, not too much.
my daughter was taking iodine when she got pregnant, took 60-90mg of
KI throughout the pregnancy every day, and continues to take iodine while breastfeeding, now at a higher dose of 150mg of
KI using
SSKI 2% with magnets.
this man has been seeing gracies son noah since he was born. he said he cant find anything wrong with him and continues to give him a clean bill of health with each visit.

i dont think you could find a more perfect specimen, due in part to taking iodine. to say otherwise is to ignore a large portion of reality and to believe lies.
