I am mixing up my own IF#2 and have a question about the recipe.
The Bentonite clay that I have is liquid, not powdered form. It is "Great Plains - Detox." But I am guessing that the recipe for IF#2 is for powdered clay.
So how many parts Bentonite clay as liquid should I use in the recipe?
Obviously I won't mix it up beforehand, but will add the clay when I mix the rest of the IF#2 in water. I just need to know the difference in proportions for dry and wet Bentonite clay.
Also, once I'm out of this liquid clay, what is the best source for dried clay?

I can't answer your question about the liquid versus the powder.

This is a reply to # 1,782,027I know of no way to estimate the amount of 'liquid bentonite' needed "per dose" or "per batch" of IF#2. There are all kinds of variables at play in the liquids (there is no "standard" of 'how much Bentonite to how much water', and no way to judge "one part" when measuring 'liquid volume' vs 'dry volume' per part).
I suggest against trying to use the liquid in the IF#2. It's one thing when we alter a "dinner recipe" or 'substitute ingredients'...it's an entirely different thing to alter the formula of an 'herbal medicine'.
