I was here about 2 months ago looking desperately for something to help my face. Even though my seb derm wasnt very severe, but because of my brown complexion it was easily noticed and it kept getting worse. The entire centre of my face was white.
I tried sodium bicarb from this forum.. it didnt work and the rest were too complicated. I had tried changing my diet long time back. They never work.

Then one day one of my acquaintances saw my face and told me he had the same problem (which i doubt was seb derm), and he used Whitfield's ointment(can be bought from any pharmacy). I was too desperate to inquire more, I started using it... voila! it stopped spreading and flaking anymore. After around 3 weeks of using it...my face is almost back to normal. It really helped me during the winter time.
So I'm just writing this to help all the desperate people out there. Try it out.. and if it doesnt work keep looking.

Btw, i dunno if it will work for the scalp...I have bad seb derm on my scalp but didnt use this till now..I'll try it out and see if there is any change.

PS: after applying whitfield's ointment, it'll burn a bit.. but it'll soon stop.
