Hello All,
I'm a 46 year old female and caught ringworm from cleaning out a cat feces area in front of my office where stray cats had been for sometime. Despite the dust mask and gloves and long sleeve shirt, I still caught this nasty thing. A word of advice. NEVER clean out a litter area where multiple cats have gone. The ringworm spores are everywhere, in the air!!!
For six months I have been battling ringworm and refused to take the last resort...Lamisil or Diflucan tablets, as they wreak havoc on your body and liver, and still many have reported it does not cure. So instead, I took to the Internet and researched why I'm getting ringworm. Bottom line; here's the combination that finally ended up working. Its a combination of working on the cure from the inside out and the outside in:
Here's my long list of ingredients:
1. Econazole Nitrate cream 1% prescription from my doctor. If you have Kaiser and email, then you can save yourself a trip and time to the doctor and take pictures of your nasty ringworm and then send the pics to your doctor who will make the diagnosis. Save yourself the time and money, and let them diagnose you via email.
2. I purchased Tineacide Anti-fungal Cream for $13 at Target.
3. Calcium
Bentonite Clay Powder for $8 at a health food store.
4. Jarrow Formulas Enhanced Probiotic "Jarrow Dophilus EPS". I use Jarrow because it's pharmaceutical grade. $25 a box of 120 capsules. Expensive, but worth it.
5. Jarrow Formulas MSM Sulfer Powder for oral consumption. About $10
6. Lots of clean clothes or socks, or wherever your infected areas are...cover them and give them and frequent applications of the fungal cream three times a day without fail!!! Or don't bother curing yourself.
7. "Fungi Cure" brand body wash with tea tree ingredients for use in the shower. Use tee tree lotion if your skin dries out.
8. Use Clorox to wash down your shower pan every couple of days.
Okay. So at first I started out using Clorox, which worked in the beginning and then apple cider vinegar, which really caused a flare up and just made things worse.
Here's what really worked for me:
The Econazole Nitrate worked well in the beginning and then lost its effectiveness. So I realized I needed to outsmart the fungus by using the Econazole every other day and rotate it with the Tineacide, so the fungus could not build up immunity to the creams.
I began taking the probiotics (about 30 billion strength), which amounts to six pills everyday. Go easy in the beginning, as this may cause you upset stomach and breakout. I dosed up slowly with one a day then two a day then three. Be forewarned, as your ringworm will get worse in the beginning. I broke out in other places I never imagined the fungus could have spread, and I was irritable with uncertainty of what I had done, or if it would work. But I had done my homework, and felt this was the right thing to do and stayed with it. BTW: I personally believe this cured worked because the probiotics were pushing the fungus out of my bloodstream and out through my skin's surface where it could heal.
I also began taking the MSM Sulfer. Again, go slowly, as this sulfer gave me a headache and made me feel hung over and achy at first. However, the literature told me to expect this, so I wasn't frightened or surprised. I just dealt with it. This is because the sulfer was detoxifying my body, or so I believe it was for me.
Apply the
Bentonite clay paste every night and let it dry on your ringworm for one hour before washing off.
CONCLUSION:
I began doing all of this and it was a lot of trial and error between every imaginable cure I read about before I arrived at this combination that worked for me. It has taken a lot of patience and about four weeks to see it clear up. I will continue my routine for the next six months to make sure this aweful ringworm cannot return. I have read it takes an army to make it go away and not recur. Keep it up for about six months.
FYI: Previously, I had used garlic, oregano oil internal and external. I used Clorox, Apple cider, more creams,
Colloidal Silver and more, and nothing seemed to work. I surmise that the reason Ringowrm is next to impossible to cure is due to the lack of NATURAL SULFER in our bodies, an amino acid called Methionine. Don't take my word for this it is merely my experience and personal opinion for myself. But there you have it. I hope this regimen works for you.
COMMENT:
My doctors just wanted to give me toxic anti fungal pills that are very hard on your liver and nasty side effects. It was the sulfer component in these pills that finally made me grab a clue as to how to use natural sulfer to cure myself. I'm a believer.
I wish you all the best.
