Let me get this straight. You just finished 11 days of the MC and if you followed the recipe on the low end you were doing at least 6 oz of maple syrup and on the high end 12oz daily and you are worried about the sugar in OJ?????
Do yourself a favor bunky and avail yourself of the forum functions and see how long I've been around and what I may know or not know before trying to play one upsmanship with me. I have done over a dozen 40 day MCs over the last 10 years Regardless of all the alkilinizing and cleansing the lemon does sugar is sugar and candida will feed on it. The end. The MC has NEVER been recommended for folks addressing Candida period
At 11 days you are barely scratching the surface as it takes 3 to 4 days just to empty solids from the system and another 3-4 days to adjust to fasting. It takes 2 weeks +/- for the system to expel the causative agents and it is after this point that the actual cleansing at the cellular level is "just begining".
It is highly unlikely that you expelled any Candida. Most likely it was mucous losened by the cayenne, maybe the lax tea While the cayenne may be somewhat considered a vermifuge it is also highly unlikely that it will have had any affect on parasites at the recommended dosage of Burroughs original recipe and even less likely if you used regular store bought cayenne which generally has a very low heat index in the 30k to 40k HU range. For any therapeutic effect cayenne needs to be in the 90K HU or higher range.
