Yes this is a silly aside, but what can I say....
I am loving my new avatar photo
roads are icy and clients are canceling here in Colorado, so I decided to find an appropriate photo for Cougar.
Also, it is a good touchstone for me to look forward to my athlete being able to express again sometime in the near future with the help of Iodine and all of you lovelies!!!
I live in Boulder, Colorado and the body can't ski or run or hit it athletically like I did for years. Thankfully I can still mountain bike and dance as long as I don't overdue it....tissues don't heal or build mass and strength like they should, electrolytes are off, and tissues are mostly way too tight. Lots of pain and weakness in muscles and joints.......anyway, I am not writing to complain, just to share where I am at currently......
Cougar has always been a power animal for me, and although I have never seen one in the wild, I did get to see some up close at the zoo in Colorado Springs back in November. I got to see them from about 6 feet away with some chain link fence in between.
And I got to hear them chirp too.....very cool:
here is a audio file of of a cougar purring and chirping:
