Hi,
I am posting this in the adrenal and hypothyroid board because it refers to both.
I am going to my doctor today and would like some advice on what to suggest to her for treatment ie. desicated thyroid etc.
Here are my temp results for 5 days three times a day at noon, 3pm and 6pm.
Day 1 95.4 97.7 97.9 Average 97
Day 2 95.3 97.1 98.8 Average 96.4
Day 3 97.5 97.7 97.3 Average 97.5
Day 4 97.7 97.8 97.3 Average 97.6
Day 5 97.9 98.4 97.9 Average 98
I am having a hard time interpreting this. So my understanding is that the fact that the average fluctuates daily by more than 0.3 means adrenal and the fact they are low means thyroid. Does this mean that even if the adrenals are treated, the thyroid will still need to be treated? Can they be trated at the same time?
My basal temp this am on awaking was 95.8 but today is day 1 of my cycle...I plan to take my basal temp the next 3 days but I suspet it to be close. In the past it's been between 95.8 to 96.2
I just don't know what this means for traetments. My doctor is pretty open minded, thankfully, so if I suggest something she'd probably prescribe it to me.
I know the adrenals needs to be trated 1st for but for the last year I've been on an adrenal diet, Vit Bs, C, magnesium and a good multi-vitamin. Adrenal glandulars made me crash. I started on adoptogens 3 days ago. do I have to wait for all of this to heal before I start on dessicated thyroid? Not sure what else I could take for the adrenals. And I hear taking dessicated thyroid while hypoadrenal can make you worse?
Symtoms are
