What Jesus was doing, was quoting Psalm 22. It was the prophecy that foretold of that day.

This is a reply to # 1,750,235When Jesus began His ministry He quoted Isaiah 61. Then He said "This day is this scripture fulfilled..." (Luke 4:18&21)
He was doing the same at the end. Showing that it was fulfilled as written in Psalm 22.
