Hi,
My friend quit smoking four months ago and has suffered 'cold' symptoms this whole past month. Her doctor told her it is detox.
The question is, would Vitamin C and/or Salt Pushing help her with that the way it helps detox bromide and metals. Is there something more specific that would help the lungs? She's on a tight budget so the less expensive, the better.
I'm researching this now but if anyone has knowledge or experience I'd be very greatful to hear it.

The list of nutrients she is missing includes Vit C and Vit A. If I could have only one supplement to help clean up lungs, it would be SSKI. Cheapest if she would make it herself. She might be able to tolerate whichever Lugol's formula you have available, but personally I'd wait till her lungs are working better before adding elemental iodine. With the SSKI (or Lugol's in a Vit C drink to change it all to iodide), take selenomethionine to balance the iodide and boost her cancer-fighting capacity.

take 4g of buffered C every hour until you get pretty loose stools close to Diarrhea. Ideally You want this to happen with 4-8g
I have done this twice and will do it again soon
I took 36g the first time and 28g the second
the idea is to keep the tissues saturated just like we are doing with Iodine here
this is something that comes from the Linus Pauling institute
buffered C is pretty cheap...
My practitioner that recommended this said it is really useful for helping the liver detox better.....
