The same back to y'all! thank you for your replies. I do believe I'm going to be glad I came here. Actually I already am.

My neighbor is much better, and is coughing up the stuff that congested his lungs, which we think was why he had so much trouble breathing (and may have killed him, had I not came along with 1 tsp of cayenne to the rescue). He called this morning and his voice sounds deeper and stronger, and he's not even hooked up to his oxygen any more. I'm thinking he would have been fine with just cayenne and not even needed the pacemaker installed. I think his heart was ailing because he couldn't breathe good enough with all that congestion.
