Goes along with what I have been saying on this forum but of course all my posts get deleted for some reason.
Leave the skin alone people. It will. I think this is why we see people get rid of folliculitis in many areas but scalp folliculitis stays... people still use shampoo.
Go on an anti inflammatory diet. Quit the grains, nuts, and pasturized dairy. Drink raw milk, eat grass fed beef, salmon, other meats, lots of veggies cooked and raw, starchy tubers like sweet potatoes and yams, butter, coconut oil, saturated fats.
Take fish oils, get your Vitamin D level checked, make sure it is adequte, stomach acid as well, take Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics and make raw milk kefir.
Quit soap, shampoo. Good bacteria will get on your skin, it will heal. Give it time. A major lifestyle change is the only cure.
Many of you saw you are "otherwise healthy" besides folliculitis. WRONG. Healthy people do not get this. Skin is an organ in your body and if it is showing signs of ill health, then your body is in ill health.
I have an E book coming out soon as to why this all works, how it works, blah blah.
Battled folliculitis 3 years and I am in remission right now, drug free. I do not use cured right now because the skin, while spotless, I know is not fully repaired even if it may look so. It will take many more renewal cycles (skin renews itself every 28 days) for much stronger more resilient skin to replace the damanged skin that became infected.
I am sure after a year without outbreaks, the skin will be healed and I could call myself cured. But I will never change from the lifestyle. There is a reason your old lifestyle gave you folliculitis...
I have been outbreak free for 2 months. This is all drug free, topical free, etc.
