"Privatise everything", is the catch cry of neo-conservative governments across the world. Its all about the money, and all about corporate self interest.

There are some things that should never be sold off, because the government doesn't own them in the first place. They belong to the people of the country, not the greedy few in the government and the multinational corporations. This includes the forests.

I wish this attitude to the living beings, (trees and animals, and human beings alike), was unbelievable, but when we look at the governments and corporations, it is not only believable, it is expected.
