We are only talking about green cholesterol stones, the ones that form because the bile solution is so high that crystals form and clump together to form stones. The evidence would indicate that people who are prone to will always tend to produce stones. That is why it is important to go onto a maintenance programme to keep clearing out the new tiddlers. This would support the theory that the little stones are just new ones. However it is just a feasible for these stones to be remnants in the gall bladder or stones from the small ducts in the liver. This makes it a difficult to make a final decision.
However each individual needs to make a judgement when to stop flushing and go onto the maintenance programme. That is the true measure of success but not talked about too much in the group.
Also, bear in mind that once the liver is clean you can minimise the formulation of new stones by ensuring that the cholesterol in the body is cycled regularly. This can be achieved by eating the same foods that have reportedly helped dissolve stones. They include fruits rich in pectin are the peach, apple, currant, and plum. Also milk thistle appears to have a bile thinning and stone dissolving capability.
