Hi All,
I did flush #3 over Friday night / Saturday morning and wanted to share the details. Ate very little on Friday morning and nothing after 2:00 p.m. Also drank probably less than I should have, being I did a cardio workout, running a couple of miles. More on that below.
At 11:00 p.m. drank a 10
oz bottle of Mag. Citate. This was the earliest I was able to completely relax. At 11:30, took 1/2 cup each of
OO (Olive-Oil) and LJ. The
OO (Olive-Oil) was cold pressed, whereas the first two were regular store variety. Is there a differnce? The cold pressed had more of a motor oil color to it where the others were lighter.
At 6:30 a.m. Sat had a rather large and fairly firm bm, but no stones. In hindsight, at this point I proably should have had some water, as I was more dehyrated than I thought, but did not.
At 8:30, decided that if there were any stones, they needed to be flushed out before they were reabsorbed, as the 6:30 trip produced none. So I did the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) and waited an hour, then another half-hour. Still none. Incidentally I chose to pass on any more Mag. Citrate in the morning, as others have done the same and I wanted to see how this affected the outcome for me.
Thinking that I absorbed the SWF, I drank another
quart or so in the next few minutes. Bingo. I had three dark and runny BMs in the next 30 minutes. Each one produced three or four dark green stones between one-half and one
inch in length, plus dozens of sand and small gravel size stones.
I am unsure if this would be called "successful" if there is such a term, but I felt better afterward. I read stories of flushes yielding what I think are hundreds of the largest stones I described, and am hoping to see more of that as I get deeper into this cleansing process.
If there is one thing I took away from this is to stay hydrated. Flushing or not I get dehyrated very easily and need to stay ahead of the fluid game. Is there a saying that if you find yourself thinking that you are dehydrated you are, and you are then playing catch-up?
Thanks to all who have walked me through steps of all three flushes, and to all of the posters who keep on keepin on.
