Metal Mouthpiece Toxicity?

I couldn't find a heavy metal forum, so I figured this is the closest one I could find.
Anyone have any info on heavy metal toxicity from brass instrument mouthpieces? After playing my holton mc silver plated mouthpiece I have a metallic taste in my mouth and was just wondering if anyone knew anything.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,738,678LOL. I agree. I am a natural at it. Playing French Horn is as easy as breathing for me for some reason.
Today I bought a brand new silver plated mouthpiece, and also a gold plated mouthpiece to compare.
The one I have currently is a little dinged up, and it's possible the bare brass is exposed a little which is never good for you to be in contact with.
