At first I bought a bunch of the capsules
with my thinking being that they would be
more stable in the heat where I live. Also,
I like Source Natural brand and they had
some in 2000 IU which made dosing easier.
Then I read about the soft-gels (D3) being
the most absorbable. So I bought some of
this D3~~

It is 5000 IU which makes dosing even easier,
and includes the oil in the soft-gel. I am
not wasting the other bottles of D3 though
and am using the coconut oil softgels with
it. Easy for me since I was dosing with
coconut oil by mouth anyway. The coconut oil
soft gels are really easy to take, (my order
has arrived already), and I am sure I will
take more. I have dug out a few of my books
on Coconut Oil, "The Coconut Oil Miracle",
by Bruce Fife, being one I especially like,
and am re-reading the benefits since there
is no better time than the holidays to amp
up my metabolism.

About vitamin D3...in the summer, I sunbathe regularly
and do not feel the need to dose myself as the body can
produce much more vitamin D than I can take. But if I do
not get out and lay in the sun naked, I feel taking the
vitamin D is optimal to keep my health efforts going in
a positive direction. Before I knew about the benefits of
vitamin D, and their importance, I used to wonder why I
felt so good after a stint of sunbathing. I used to consider
it a luxury, and now I consider it a necessity.
Here is one more special on another brand of D3
I have used before and like~~
