Many people disagree with me, but I much prefer absolute fasting over water fasting.
However, losing 95
pounds is a big goal. Where do you expect all of that 95
pounds to go during a dry fast? I'll give you a hint: the body will be trying to burn it off wherever it is found.
If you intend to go through with that long of a dry fast (which I don't recommend, btw) then you will want to keep some water and food handy in case you need to break the fast. In particular you should be concerned with lightheadedness, difficulty remaining conscious, or extreme fatigue. If any of this happens you should rehydrate, and if the rehydration is inadequate then you should eat something as well.
If you want to lose that much weight in one fast, it is best to be in bed and away from stress. Someone who is experienced in fasting should oversee the fast.
One of the reasons so many people fail at breatharianism is that their bodies and minds are simply unprepared. You should be more realistic with your fasting goals. I don't know anyone who's lost 95
pounds on a single dry fast. But I have heard of people who did not even need to lose 95 pounds who died trying to become breatharian.
Big ideas do not reality make. It's nice to have a dream, but it's even better to make that dream realistic. In my experience, the faster you change the body, the more difficult things become. It is easier to change the body slowly over time.
