To start with ALL is a viral induced cancer.  In fact, almost 100% of leukemias are viral in origin.  The few exceptions are the radiation induced leukemias.  Unless exposed to fallout though or working around radiation sources this is very unlikely.  The viruses are known as the Human T-cell leukemia viruses 1 through 4.  These are the known human leukemia viruses, although more may still be found in the future.  Allopathic therapies such as chemo and radiation do not really address the viral origins of these cancers, which is why they often come back after therapy.  The good news is that leukeemias and lymphomas are the easiest cancers to treat and respond extremely well to the antiviral  and anti-cancer herbs andrographis, pau d' arco and chaparral taken 3-4 times daily at least 20 minutes before meals.  To get rid of leukemias altogether takes on average a month, although I have seen people come back with a clean diagnosis faster than that.  To be on the safe side though to make sure all the viral particles are destroyed I recommend people stay with the herbs for 2 months.

These are the primary herbs.  There are a few others combined that will give the formula an even stronger kick, but one of the herbs used in the synergistic blend needs to be used with some supervision since it can be toxic if someone decides If some is good then more is better".  So I am careful about posting this publicly since people tend to not listen to directions many times.

 The other herbs I mentioned are safe in higher doses, so I don't worry about them.  Although the chaparral and pau d' arco are synergistic so they are best used combined as well, not individually.  If you can find all three herbs to take together all the better.

And if you want to look in to cancer viruses you can research these on Medline.  Cancer viruses have been known by mainstream medicine since 1908, and leukemia and lymphoma viruses for about 30 years.  They just are not mentioned to the public often due to politics and greed.  But that is not something that does not need to be addressed right now.

As for calories protein and fiber.  Brazil nuts are a good source of each as well as anti-cancer selenium.  Although selenium can be over done, so I recommend not going overboard with them.  Other nuts can also supply a lot of calories (from fat content) as well as protein and fiber.   Raw nuts are best since they are also sources of antiviral protease inhibitors (PIs).  Other rich sources of PIs include green tomatoes and raw red potatoes, which can be juiced with some fruits and vegetables for flavor.

By the way, one nut to avoid completely are peanuts.  Peanuts are notorious for their aflatoxin content from the fungus Aspergillus niger.  The aflatoxins can cause liver cancer in immunosuppressed patients such as cancer patients.  So all peanut products really should be avoided.

Nut butters are another great way t get calories, protein and fiber.  There are various choices out there including soy nut butter, almond butter, hazelnut butter, etc.

Greens can be served as a salad with an olive oil-vinegar dressing for more fiber and calories.

Meat  and dairy consumption should be limited and organic if possible. 

The algae chlorella is another great choice.  It is anti-cancer, and very cleansing.  Rich in fiber and about 60% protein.  Spirulina ( a blue-green cyanobacteria "algae") is higher in protein, being around 90% protein, but does not have as many medicinal properties as chlorella.  Still I often combine both to get the benefits of both.

It really is not hard to get enough protein for our daily needs.  Actually the body only utilizes about 3 ounces of protein a day, and any excess is just waste the body has to expend energy on to eliminate since its breakdown product, ammonia, is highly poisonous to the body.  The focus needs to be more on quality, not quantity when it comes to protein.  In other words focus on protein sources providing all the essential amino acids, not just a lot of junk protein.

I also recommend is oatbran for fiber.  It is a soft fiber so it will not damage the intestines like wheat bran or psyllium.   And oat bran is rich in B vitamins for the nervous system and for the liver, which needs B vitamins for detoxification.

Seaweeds are also good choices for B vitamins and other nutrients.  And they help as a stool softener by holding moisture in the intestines.  There are also anti-cancer properties from some of the seaweeds.  Dulse and bladderwrack are both rich in immune stimulating polysaccharides.  And dulse is also a strong antiviral.
