Yes it is.

It takes two to tango!

Once you reply to a personal attack, you are equally bad as attacker.

Once the personal attack is removed, your message will be gone too, cause once a message is hidden, all replies disappear too.


Do not reply to personal attacks!

Personally, I would much rather self-Moderate and handle posters myself, than have to deal with this new overly-strict partial and extremely biased Moderator.

After all, we are all adults here and these are Debate Forums NOT Support Forums , therefore should not be subject to such extreme scrutiny as Puritanical Micro-Moderation.

I sure hope the Webmaster chimes in. This is a massive problem. George Bush could moderate better at this point.

You attacked the poster, instead of addressing the message.
That is exactly why your message was edited by a moderator.

Why is your message a low punch?

Not proofreading a message before posting it has nothing to do with the argument that message is making.
Messages that people post on discussion boards are not books that are going to be printed in 50000 examples. it is not always necessary to proofread before you post.
A person may even not have time to proofread.
Or may use a mobile phone with limited screen and limited editing possibilities.

Yes, she may have overdone it a few times, but nobody was born with knowledge of moderating. Moderators learn though errors like the rest of us.
