Thanks. I read the post and asked some questions of my own. It looks like bomar )the poster) has not posted in some time, so I am unsure as to if he is still active, but I will update this thread when I know more.

Good Answer. I am sort of between a rock and a hard place. I do agree with you though that I am on the meds for a reason and should probably stay on them. I am new to the BP meds and I know that you need to be weaned off of them, versus stopping cold.

The point of doing the flushes is to clean out my liver to get it back to a "normally" functioning state so that I can get off of these meds permanenetly. Sort of a catch 22 to stop meds that you are on to do a cleanse to get you to a point where you don't needs the meds anymore. Did that come out right?

Thanks for the link. I actually took several doses a day of the ES in the days prior to doing my first flush, and other than some gaseous emissions, there were no side-effects. This was almost two weeks ago, and I was not on BP meds at that time.

Since then I have started BP meds and plan to do another flush this weekend. Having not taken the ES/Mag. Citrate since being on the meds the initial question I posed was to anyone that did the flush while on BP meds and what their experiences were. That's all. I will probably go the same route with the prestaging of the laxative now.

Until recently I had elevated cholesterols and BP for many years. My goal is to continue with a healthy lifestyle, including the flushes, to remove much of the 'muck' that is in my liver and eventually get back off of the meds when it again is running at higher effieciency. At 38, I have never been a big drinker or did any kind of drugs, prescription or not, but I think this is going to take some time to undo.

In the meantime I am going on the meds to help quell some of the screaming in my ears and reduce arterial damage due to the high blood pressure. There is probably a lot that has to be undone.

BTW, great pics after your 17th flush. That is even more daunting to me going into my second flush, knowing that I will be seeing things month and months down the road, but ya gotta start somewhere. Thanks again for your input.
