Hi everyone. I am sure that I am not the first person to look for tips/advice for getting some of this stuff down. I realize that what I am taking is so beneficial to me and therefore if I just have to deal with it, I certainly will! No one said that natural healing was going to taste good only that it is good for you!
But I am wondering if others have any tips/advice or ways they have come up with for masking the flavor of some of the items?
Most of what I am taking is not what I would describe as yummy...lol...but the ones that I find the most difficult are:
Superfood-I am supposed to take 4 to 6 T daily. I mentioned this in a previous post but still could use some ideas. I have tried mixing it with juice, in a smoothie etc. This morning I mixed with water and just chugged it down. Perhaps that is the best way!
Ashwaganda-I am starting with 1T and possibly going to 3T. This was not so bad going down but the aftertaste eek!
Slippery Elm- So far I have been mixing 1T with apple juice, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg not horrible but not real tasty either!
Maybe mixing some of these together or with other things I am taking might help?
