That's the $64,000 question! How best to treat a bacterial overgrowth? I wish I knew! Of course it will depend on the offending bacteria, which may vary a lot from person to person. Ideally, we want to inhibit the offending pathogenic bacteria without killing too many of the 'good guys'.

I am currently taking GSE. Now I'm not sure that Grapefruit-Seed-Extract is the best thing for me to take, because it kills most bowel bugs, good and bad. However at the moment my priority is to get some relief from my symptoms.

But... like tony said, u have to remove the majority of the pathogen first. Ive tried Liver Flushing lots of times without targeting candida or SIBO first and it was useless (thats just for me, of course).

Good point! Brown. This indicates I am secreting bile into my small intestine. However, I still think I would benefit from more bile, to inhibit bacteria in my small bowel.
