DHA + lecithin + vitamin C + vitamin B1 + vitamin B 12 + GLA
Actual nerve tissues are made of two types of fatty acids - DHA and GLA (gamma linoleic acid), along with several nutrients that are found in lecithin such as choline phosthatitylserine etc.
DHA can be bought in supplements, Nordic naturals is by far the best brand
The best source of GLA is borage oil.
You can buy all of the separate nutrients that the body uses from lecithin or you can just take the lecithin. Personally I do both
Vitamin C is critical because this is what allows the body to convert the nutrients in lecithin into nerve tissue
Vitamin B1 is critical because this is what the body uses to build the myelin sheath that surrounds the nerve tissues. The two best forms are allithiamine (a true fat-soluble version that is an extract of garlic), and the coenzymenated sublingual tablets a.k.a. cocarboxylase. I take both forms
A lot of people recommend benfotiamine, but studies have shown it does not raise brain levels of vitamin B1. Personally I use it for about eight months and it did nothing at all for me.
Vitamin B12, get the sub lingual methyl version
You also need to be taking a full spectrum B. vitamin on top of all that
take all of the above at least twice a day, preferably three times a day in whatever amount you feel comfortable
I spent a lot of time studying this issue and putting together a good protocol, so let me know via have more questions
