Hello,
I am the wife of a V.N. veteran. He had two tours of duty. He was in for 23 years. He was one of the first to go to V.N. in 1965 and He was in the Ia Drang Valley.
When they found out that he was a Veteran of the Ia Drang Valley, They were all so excited. They ask him how he did it.. how had he not cracked up .. how had he held a job, why hadn't he murdered anyone or commited sucide, and how on earth could he still be married to the same women!! How had he learned to survive ??
The long and the short of it was that he of course he did have PTSD. and it was beginning to catch up with him. They put him 18 pills a day. They told him that his memory loss and his mental additude was due to the PTSD. His sucide thoughts and anger all because of the PTSD.
The pills for PTSD caused him to have facial tremers. He was not his self. He did things he could not remember. He would say mean things, that were not the way of my loving husband. At holidays he would sit off to his self. He could not watch a tv show and remember the next day.. he could not read a book. He spent most of his time on the computer playing games. He was fast gaining weight and
Depression increasing. ( if you can call this good ) The only good thing was that he could watch a tv show over and over and not know what was to come next. He could not get what was in his brain to his hands. He use to be great at fixing everything. He had to fix things at least 3 x to get it right and that with my help. He use to be fantastic in math. NO more, he could not add and I am serious, 3+3. I was losing my husband.
He felt he had Alzheimer's Disease, and he said, that many of his group in therapy felt the same way. He was scared to dealth!! He had it planned when to kill his self. And I did not have a clue.
He also has Emphsyema, sense 1984 ~ He only has 30% of his lungs lefts. But he is doing well, considering the lack of lung, in that aspect no oxygen yet. They had him on 4 different inhalers, and a smoker.. I put him on Himalayan salt inhaler, he is now only on one of theirs.
He had colds that lasted for months..with lots of medication. He was slowly going down hill. But now They can't beleive how great he is doing now. That he is not in a wheel chair, that he is not on oxygen or dead. We saw a lady yesterday.. they told us that he had less then she did.. she was so sick, and on oxygen.. Made my heart hurt. I naturally told her all we had found. To help fight it.
But the thing I want to tell you is that we found out we had Candida. We went on the Candida Diet. We ate good and kept our nutrition up.. and we used everything we could to kill that horrid thing. We won !!
He is now down to 5 pills for sleep at nite... he still has some trouble sleeping.. but he plans to be off all those mood medications come Christmas. He is back to being his self, he is cheerful, playful, does math fantastic again, and is repairing everything that has gone to the dog for years. I have my husband back. He is not watching the same TV shows instead he says, ya, I saw that before.
He is glad to be alive!!
The doctors say...
"Although systemic and chronic candidiasis is a serious illness you only get it if your are seriously immunocompromised- like AIDS, cancer chemotherapy patient, organ transplant patient.
( I had sent over a item I found listing the stages of Candida )
Notice that most of the symptoms this person lists in stages three and up are actually non specific and can be caused by many many things. In contrast, people with systemic candidiasis have very specific symptoms and diagnostic test results, they are also very critically ill and do not survive long without treatment. People with an intact immune system- for example, able to fight off a cold, do not get systemic candidiasis. The concept that candida can cause a chronic, undiagnosable disease was popular several years ago. but has been completely disproven from a medical standpoint. That is why, as this person mentions, doctors do not make that diagnosis and instead look for true causes of the symptoms. Some people do have trouble with recurrent yeast infections ( like vaginal infections ) and then dietary and hygeine changes can help. Anyway, I don't think you have to worry about chronic candidiasis."
Well, if this is true, why then Do I have my husband back.
It certainly was not because of their classes, not their medication, nor their counslors.
I would say yes, people die with Candida because the Medical establishment does not recognize it is out there in the general population and do not check for it until it is in its last stages.. and then people die !!
You read.. you decide.. but I know it is real

oh and with the Candida gone.. for the first time in years the report on his Emphsyema came back ~~ no loss of lung capacity.
I have him back because we Battled Candida and Won.
I strongly urge you to check to see if those you love have Candida.. and research it.
Maybe you can get your loved ones back too..
I wish you the best and I hope you can do as we
did and have your lives back.
