This is a reply to # 1,703,662The best thing to do is get samples of all products likely to be used and test them all to see if they react when YOU use them.
Such testing is best done supervised by a doc who knows about and is proficient in helping MCSers.
No such thing as products everyone can tolerate.

MoreThis is a reply to # 1,703,774I was advized to strap a sample of the polypropelene mesh to my skin for a day to monitor any reaction
A rash developed only at the site of the mesh surround so the surgeon was confident that he could repair the hernia without any future problems
However in the ensuing 6 months I have suffered Arthritis in my fingers and toes due to my immune system treating the mesh as a foreign object - in my opinion
To remove the Mesh after it has merged with my tissues is out of the question - I will have to live with it
