You say take animo acids 30 mins before meals, so do i still take herbs 20 minutes before? i.e ten minutes after taking the animo acids.
Yes, the herbs are really not going to act like a meal. They will have some protein in the herbs, but you will not be taking enough to be an issue.

How much is safe to take at one go? Do you know what 500mg looks like on a teaspoon? i.e half a teaspoon?

I can't say i feel the Ashwagandha calming me. How strongly should i feel the calming affect of glycine, and is it good idea to take daily long term or as needed?
Everyone has different sensitivities to supplements. So you will just have to try it and see how well it works for you. You can take it as needed, and it is safe long term. Glycine will have other benefits as well such as tissue repair since it is a component of collagen and elastin.

I will take 1/2 tsp Ashwagandha, (although i will normally be taking a mix of adaptogens,) 2 Seredyn,(high niacinaminde, l-theanine,passionflower,high mag taurinate,valarian combo) 500mg to 1G of glycine and tmg. I will take all this before breakfast and again before lunch plus my other herbs.
Remember that valerian has the opposite effect in some people.
I tried 500mg of glycine yesterday but didn't feel any calming affect. Was quite dissappointed.
Try a higher dose to see if that works. People can have different needs. For example a tall 350 pound person may require more than a short 90 pound person. So you may have to experiment to find a dose proper for you.
