I just found an article saying that Iodide has a
positive influence on dry eye disease (keratoconjunctivitis sicca).

Does anybody have any experience with treating eye diseases with iodine?

I had "dry eye" before starting Iodine supps, and it disappeared within a couple of months of Iodine supping. I also treat any conjunctivitis, or other eye infections with a dilute Iodine solution, bathing the eye with it several times a day.- Re: Treatment of dry eyes with iodin... Stokrotka

This is a reply to # 1,695,745I was taking Lugols Iodine for about 2 months when the dry eye problem went. At the time I was taking 100mg per day for treating FBD, (also gone now). My eyesight also improved when I started Iodine supping.
